The dojo

Kobudo Kai uses the concepts and principles of traditional Okinawan karate, incorporating traditional karate with modern-day mixed martial arts.

High levels of discipline and respect keep a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone to develop as martial artists and individuals. Karate builds confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline, respect, concentration and courtesy, and it helps build leadership skills. It is also good for self-defence.

Karate suits children or adults who do not do well in team sports, and it is often recommended for children with ADD, learning difficulties and hyperactivity. We teach both juniors and seniors.
